Getting home in sunny weather!

The first few days after coming home from holiday are always the most difficult. There is always lots of work to do and everything has to find its own place again. The sunny weather did help. It gave us the feeling that the summer isn’t completely over yet.

There were of course lots of things I was missing during our time away. Our own bed, running water and the animals. Sunday, when we arrived, it was time to cuddle with the chickens. Four weeks away from them felt really long and we were happy to be able to hold them again. They did a good job in the garden.

The next day it was finally time to go to the horses. The first lesson was quite difficult. Bizu was behaving perfectly, but I could feel the exhaustion in my muscles from being on the sea. Walking Bizu back home in the sunset, made the day even more special.
