Storm in Copenhagen

We left the snow behind and went over the longest bridge I have ever seen to Denmark. Leaving Sweden after only a few days felt weird, but we must go home.

There is one last city we are going to stay in for two nights and that’s Copenhagen. We went to the little mermaid early in the morning when most of the travelers were still sleeping. She had to sit through rough weather as a storm started picking up.

We walked through the city and found some lovely stores, mostly bookstores. They like books more here in Scandinavia than in the Netherlands. The bookshops are big and many of the books are in English.

As it started to drizzle outside, we found a museum to go to, The Military Museum. Inside, we walked through the Afganistan wat and later we got to see everything of the Navy and even some Knights and their horses’ armor.
