We went to the Zoo in Amsterdam for my boyfriend's and his mom's birthday. We were fortunate with the weather because it was raining heavily when we were on our way there, but when we arrived, it stopped, and we didn’t have any rain for the rest of the day. We weren’t the only ones waiting under a roof for the rain to stop. I believe he didn’t want to give up his nice and dry spot.

A little while later, the sea lion came to investigate me from a bit closer because I was limping around on crutches. A few days prior, I had a bit of a rough day and tore one of the ligaments in my ankle when I got thrown off a horse. The sea lion probably thought a penguin was hobbling by.

At the end of the day, we were all pretty tired and weren’t the only ones. Even the red panda called it a day early. I did manage to photograph his tail. They are much less cute than they seem. If they were, I would love to cuddle one because they looks so soft and fluffy.
