Moving into fall!

Our bedroom is looking more and more like a room, and with the fall arriving, we are renovating the heating system so we will be warm and cozy in the winter. We finally have a ceiling again, and it makes the room a lot lighter. I am very much looking forward to being able to sleep in this room.

Saturday, we went to the Corpus Museum in Leiden. This museum is all about the human body. With headphones on, you walk around inside the body and learn how specific systems work and how the body heals when we get hurt. It’s fascinating, and at the end of the tour, we were rewarded with a beautiful view of the city. We went to a few bookstores in Amsterdam in the afternoon, but I didn’t buy a book this time. It was quite a rainy day, so we did get the feeling of fall arriving.

The sunday weather was al lot nicer and there is no better way to enjoy these days than to go out and see some animals, even the cows were enjoying their day while laying in the sun.
