Six years together!

This Saturday my boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for 6 years. Surely something to be celebrated and so we did.

In Leeuwarden, a city in the north of The Netherlands, there was build a new climbing hall. My boyfriend doesn’t like heights so we went bouldering. This is a little less high and I think it is a lot more fun.

We came there and got some shoes to tri. Normal gym shoes are not very easy to climb in so the lend out climbing shoes there at the climbing hall. These are very tight, but a lot more bendable. Otherwise you won’t have any grip on the wall and the boulders.

We had an introduction lesson for around an hour. In which we were instructed about the safety rules, how to fall off and land safely. There is a mat under neath but you can stil fall wrong an hurt yourself or break something of course. We started out by trying te easier courses but were even able to go to some more advanced routes.

After our hour long introduction we were free to go around the hall and try some routes our self. You are able to stay till nine. But we left after about half an hour. Our arms and legs were falling off and we were very tired.

Luckily we already had a lot of fun and will definitely come back an other time.

PS: It is now the day after and today we did not do much. All our muscles are still sore and screaming. Time for a hot shower and watching tv on the couch under a warm blanket. Which is even nicer with the flower my boyfriend gave me. They make the house smell delightful.
