Day 10: Home Sweet Home

Today was already our last day on Holiday. We got out of bed, got our stuff together, and got into the car. We had a long day ahead of us and were hopping to be able to get a ferry earlier otherwise it was going to be a late night, but when we got by the boarding check-in, we didn’t even have to ask, because they asked us and we could get on the ferry two hours earlier than we had planned!

Before dark we were in Belgian, but there the trouble began. We stood still on the highway for almost an hour and we were getting more and more tired by the minute, but after Antwerpen, we were able to keep going and the rest of the journey was a smooth trip.

Late at night we got home and ate the most nutritious dinner of the whole holiday, before crashing into our bed. We found the energy in between dinner and crashing in bed to get the stuff out of the car and to put most of it in their designated spots, but we will have to sort out the house in the morning. The car also needs a good wash before it will be ready to use again.
