Save me by Mona Kasten

After seeing that they made a TV Adaptation of this book and watching the trailer, I got intrigued. I found the ebook, started to read it independently, and watched the series along with it. This was the perfect combination, as I got genuinely infested with the characters.

This book is all about Ruby Bell. After getting a scholarship, she goes to the elite school Maxton Hall and is finally on her way to accomplishing her dream of studying at Oxford University. She works hard and stays far away from the drama surrounding the other wealthy and privileged students—until she sees something that she shouldn’t have, and the drama no longer stays far away from her.

"Sometimes the people who seem the strongest are fighting the hardest battles."

I loved reading this book. Its setup was really cozy, but there was more than enough happening to keep me invested in the story. Watching the show, along with reading the book, made me love the characters even more. I was rooting for them to get together so they didn’t have to figure it out all on their own. I felt so bad for them that they had to go through what they had to go through all alone.

"You can’t always choose what happens to you, but you can choose how you respond."

I can’t wait to start the second book in the series because I really want to know how this story will continue. I believe there will be a season two of the TV Series as well, so hopefully, that one is coming soon.

It is a five-star read and a five-star season.
