Day out with friends!

Yesterday I had a really fun day with friends. We went to Drenthe. On the way there we already had a lot of fun, because we hadn’t seen each other for about a month. Way too long ago if you ask us.

We rented some e-scooters and rode around in a beautiful area. We took the route that the renters gave us and we passed some interesting places.

First, we came by a war memorial. It was quite a beautiful place. It was an open space surrounded by trees. They had something I had never seen before. They had a box with paper and a mailbox and you were able to write something to the people who died in the war.

Later in the route, we rode by a hiding house out of the Second World War. It was a cabin built of wood buried into the ground. The entrance was visible but if you walked to the other side it was almost invisible.

After about one and a half hours we got back to the starting point and went out for dinner together. Now we are all looking forward to the next time we get to do something together.
