Easter on an island!

This weekend I went to Terschelling with my boyfriend. When we were on the ferry, it was very foggy. Luckily for us it got a lot more sunny when we arrived in the harbor.

We biked around the island a lot and the first day we went to the beach. It wasn’t very windy, so we walked over the beach without having to wear our jackets. We didn’t go for a swim because the water was still freezing.

The second day we went to two different museums. The first one was an aquarium and nature museum and the second one was a museum about the story of Willem Barentsz. The second one was the most interesting, especially the story about the Lutine, a ship that has sunk above Terschelling with a hole lot of gold in the hold.

The last day it was easter. So after eating a lovely easter brunch, we went to take the last pictures of the island, before we had to go to the harbor to get on the ferry back home.
