A day at sea

Today was a full day on board of the Finnlines. We slept in a bit too long and missed breakfast, because the swaying of the ship let us sleep like a baby. Our day started off with eating brunch on the outside aft deck of the ship, where we enjoyed a cup of tea and a sandwich while sitting in the sunshine.

The rest of the day we watched the water go by, read a book and even napped in our cabin as there wasn’t a whole lot to do. Some relaxing before we would have to embark on the biggest road trip we have done, all the way to the north cape.

The time talking was well spend as we had a lot to figure out for next years holiday and how we were going to try to make that work and with no connection to the outside world for over 24 hours there isn’t much else to do than talk and read. I thought I would miss being online a bit more but it honestly felt quite nice to be completely free of it all.
