Helsinki and beyond
We woke up early to enjoy our last few ours at sea. In the sunlight we watched the islands go by while the captain navigate the ship to shore. We packed the last of our things and made everything ready to depart.
After getting off the ship we drove to Helsinki to take a look at the city. We were in luck with the weather and the jacket could go back in the bag and we even had to put on sunscreen. Not the Scandinavian weather we were expecting but it’s always nice to not have to worry about everything getting wet. Helsinki is a city full of beautiful and old architecture and was a joy to walk through.
After walking through the city we went to the place we were going to stay the night: Hiltonhaudantie. A off-road camping spot deep into the woods. It was so far into the woods that we only saw two bikes during the time we were there. Right when we went to sleep it started raining and we fell asleep to the sound off drops on the roof of the tent.
