Day One: Hirtshals
It was a long day. We left our home at 8 o’clock after checking everything for one last time. Lights off, doors locked and we were ready to go. It was a long drive so we decided to go to a museum at around the half way point. In Hamburg is a Rusian u-boat that is open for public. My boyfriend is extremely interested in everything World War II so of course we had to take a look.
At around 9 PM, we arrived on the spot where we were going to stay the night. We had to replace the car a few times to get it level enough to sleep. Luckely, we are very tired from the long drive, so it’s probably lights out, and we are fast asleep.
Dinner was simple but warm because we brought a camping stove. Only one pan was dirty, so the dishes were done quickly. Now, we are off to bed and back to driving tomorrow morning.
