Load the cannons!
There was much to explore here, so we stayed a little bit longer. At one of the many rental places around here, we rented a bike to get to the Cannon museum. This would have been a very long walk and with these bikes we were able to get there in 35 minutes. It was good to be there so early, because it was a really big museum.
I have to say that one of the most impressive things was the cannon. It was massive! It’s the second largest in the world and the funny thing is, is that it’s practically never used. It was right up upon a hill and when we sailed in to the fjord yesterday we already could see it. I get why the never had to use it. If you see it you turn around.
Inside the museum were all thing the needed to operate the canons and to house the people operating it. Off course there also were some tools that the needed if something had to be fixed and we are happy that our ship has no need of such tools. They are heavy.
On the mountain we could see everything. We even could see some people we know arriving. When we came back by our ship, we found out that they found a place in the same harbor as we. Quite the coincidence. They too had just sailed here from The Netherlands.
