Preparations in full swing!

With only a week to go before starting our holiday, there was lots to finish. Starting with getting all the food in their desired spaces. After lots of struggle and playing real live Tetris we got it all in.

After that we had to find a good space for our new friend. My mom mad it for us to help us have a safe travel. In our family every ship has to have its own mascot when going on a big trip. And I have a feeling ours is going to be a great adventurous one.

At home there too were a few things left to do. Bags had to be packed, Laundry had to be done and the electronics had to be charged. With our tablet as a bakup plotter it had to be charged and all the maps had to be downloaded and loaded into the apps.

And the last thing to do was to clean. Nothing worse than coming home to a house that looks like a bom had gone off. Gladly our home isn’t that big so in under two hours the hole house was clean again. One week to keep it clean and then we are off.
