After finding the review request for this book, I requested it at BookSirens and received it for free. This is the first book I have ever received! I downloaded it right onto my ebook and started reading.

Al the boys have there own problem the need to work on, one is a lier, the other keeps secrets and everysingle one of them got sent there by their parents to get rid of it. This was such a fantastic book to dive into. It’s a shorter book than I usually read, but there weren’t a lot of pages needed to get me invested in the story and the characters. This book has a fascinating magic system, and I hope there will be a prequel of Peculiar’s story to discover the magic system even more. During the book's first half, you learn a lot about the boys and the dynamic between them, but from the very first chapters, a lot is already happening. I wanted to keep reading all the time, and I finished the book in a couple of days.
“If I promise never to lie again, will you not call me Fibbsy?” “Why would I believe a liar like you could ever fulfill his end of such a bargain so quickly?”

I found it a really good book. The only reason I will not give it five stars is that I found it a bit too predictable for a Young Adult book. If I would recommend this book to someone, I would recommend it to a kid who’s only switching from Middle Grate books to Young Adult books.
Madame Eldridge’s Wayward Home for Unruly Boys gets four stars.
