Day five: Staxigoe

Today we had an easy day at the cottages. It was a rainy day, but we decided to go out in between the heavy rain to get some fresh air and explore around. We wanted to go to a cave nearby, but it was a bit too slippery so we stayed on the stones that weren’t as wet. We are going to try to get there tomorrow if the weather is a little better.

Nearby were some ruins we were able to get through without slipping and sliding down the cliffs. We did have to clean our shoes when we got back to the cottage because it was a bit muddy.

After walking through the rain we went back and warmed up with some English crumpets out of the toaster and I am sad they don’t have those things in the Netherlands. In the afternoon we stayed inside and relaxed for a bit because it is a holiday after all.
