First night Sailing!
This day it was my time to go sailing through the night for the very first time. I could feel the nerves tingeling in my stomach when we left. Luckily we were blessed with a calm sea and almost no wind.
There was still some time left before the sun would set, so we took this time to relax on the deck.
It was a beautiful site to see the sun slowly but surely disappearing into the sea.
After the sun left, the stars came out to quiet us through the night. Sadly enough they were a bit camera shy.
The hardest part of sailing through the night wasn’t the sailing in the dark, but staying warm and staying awake. When we are sailing for multiple days to Norway, we have to learn to sleep while the other is sailing.
Now it is time for us to wind down and get some sleep.
