Safely back home again!
This morning we left quite early to catch the tide. There was already a lot of wind, but nothing we couldn’t handle. We didn’t use our headsail, because our genua was more than enough.
After a few hours of sailing we arrived at the lock chamber close by Den Oever. This time it all went a lot smoother and had some fun conversations with the charter where we laid next to. They had the same trouble with getting in as we had two days ago.
On Lake IJsel we still had al lot to sail. We had to get to Makkum, but this was agains the wind. Our only option was to sail criss-cross to it. Even with wind up to 25 knots this took quite a long time.
At 6:30PM we got back home and after putting a the stuff where it belongs it was time to cuttle our pets.
