Hold on to your hats…

Wind, lots and lots of wind. A reason for us to stay another day in Harlingen. Friday the weather is good again to go onto the sea and it’s not far for us to get to the place where we can go out onto it. To risk the ship in this weather would be a bad idea if you got lots of time to spare.

We did what everyone would do with this kind of weather. Read, watch tv and work on the boat some more. Always something to do on a boat. We even took a warm, and very needed shower. The feeling of salt sticking to your skin never goes away without a shower.

During lunch it got dry again and we went out to walk around the harbor and the city. We weren’t the only one with bad luck and rain. The cormorant got also a bit of rain and tried to dry his coat in this bit of sunny weather. Time to find somewhere dry to hide, because the next cloud while be coming in quite soon.
