Sunshine and Rainbows

We woke up in the rain, but while putting the tent away we were mostly sheltered by the trees. The road we were standing next to had been really quiet last night so we slept well.

We found out last night there was a big waterfall close by so after packing up we had to check it out. The Hellefjossen Waterfall is 240 meters high and the water fell down hard enough that the mist had us put on a rain jacket.

After enjoying the sight of the waterfall it was only a short drive to our sleeping spot for the night. Although the day started out with rain it turned to sunshine when we arrived. We were able to side outside, on a picknick bench for almost the whole afternoon. The view, the sunshine and the book I am currently reading made it a perfect day.

We didn’t only sit down and relaxed we went on a small hike to say hello to the cows. They were really cute and we even got a few kisses.
